BMW 88 Pin ECU Connector

88 Pin ecu connector found on early BMW E36/E39/E38 with Motronic/Siemens ecus, M3.1/M1.7/M1.7.3/M5.2/M5.2/MS40/MS41.1 etc.

Used in a few of our pnp standalone ecus.

Compatibility Note

A locating/keying pin can be found to the left of the connector, for some connections this may need to be removed, just use side cutter snips and it cuts off easily. This was because certain years of cars used the same connector for ECU and TCU, and one just had the keying pin to stop them from being incorrectly connected.

The PCB pin footprint of this connector differs over the years, this is the staggered type, this isn't an issue if you're designing from scratch.
